Any file system OTHER than HFS+ ?

I’d like to use a Drobo 5N for a home network file server. I want to move away from a Mac file server – I want a reliable file system. (Absolutely not HFS+.) Can/does the 5N directly support any other file system via its normal configuration interface/console?

Hello,

The Drobo 5N supports both the Mac (HFS+) and Windows (NTFS) file system.
You could review the specifications here > http://www.drobo.com/storage-products/5n/

5N is a NAS and as such it doesn’t expose its native filesystem to clients. It uses ext4 internally and makes the data available to the network via CIFS or AFP.

KelvinY: that is not true - you don’t have a choice of file system type with 5N.
