Drobo

All Drives Red

Hi there,

Recently I tried to swap out a 750Gb drive out of my drobo and replace with a 1Tb. As soon as I did that drobo started reporting other drives as “failed”. I assumed I must have jostled one of the drives while changing the 750 so I made sure all were properly connected. Nothing.

After waiting a while I decided to put the 750 back in - that didn’t change anything. All drives remained red and this message appeared:

“I don’t recognie some of the drives you have installed in my data bays. They may have been previously formatted by me or are from another drobo”

Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on how to recover?

I assume my data is all there but it’s just some sort of synchronization issue.
