Accessing Volumes

Background Information

  • Recently had to take the drobo elite in for data recovery.
  • Cloned all the drives as backup and re-seated them in the same order.
  • Drobo started to rebuild volume (same as replacing a drive)
  • Drobo finished / restarted after 24 hours.
  • Connected USB cable to see the Drobo Dashboard
  • Dashboard reports 2TB of data, however unable to see previous created volumes.
  • Drobo was used with VMWare ESXi 5.1.

Question

  • Any way to access the previous created volumes?
  • How to display the missing volumes in dashboard?

hi, im not too sure about the elite, but could i ask which drives you put back in when the clone was carried out?
was it the original ones, or the cloned ones?
