Anybody use them 8tb hdd’s and how do they perform?
be very careful - do not use the seagate “archive” drives, no shingled (SMR) disks - these are not supported in RAID type scenarios, they perform very erratically and may be ejected from the array
only try the WD80EFRX 8TB WD red (or similar)
otherwise they should work OK, and they should be very fast too
