I recently Purchased a 800FS while building a VMware lab environment. And now that I am setting up the LAB, I am realizing that I should have gotten an 800i, but my question is can I just get by with a droboapp that allows me to use ISCI on the 800FS or is this unit not capable of being my central storage in my lab. Its a small lab with only 3 Hosts, and I doubt I will ever get over 15 VMs.
Thank you for the views, but after much soul searching and investigation I found out the not even the 800i will support what I am looking to do. Unfortunately, I will have to move on to another Vendor. By the way I now have 800FS for sale with rack mounts, it has only been in the rack for 24hrs.
