I’ve seen posts on Google and such about this, so I figure my 5C is toast. I tried putting 2 new drives in it and hit the reset button, but it doesn’t work, the lights come on as all yellow, the fan spins, then it shuts down… then about 5 seconds later it does it again… and again…
So I have 2 options:
- Try to find another 5C somewhere so I can at least get the drives in and get some data off.
- I found software called “UFS Explorer RAID Recovery”. They state that their software will read Drobo’s BeyondRAID. You can download it for free, to see if it works.
I may just go the software route, but it’s $140. Small price to pay for data recovery I guess. Has anyone used this software before? Do you think it’ll work? Probably my best option I guess…
