4 x SOLID red... HELP

last night i got my drobo (drobo 2nd gen) disabled, (by a stupid move of me :slight_smile: )
now when i turn the drobo back on, i got 4x solid reds… I tried everything, but the only thing i got in my dashboard was

4 reds solid
i can see my 4 disks:
1TB
1TB
1TB
1,5TB
and on the bottom: "too many hard drives has been removed, please re-insert the removed hard drives, but all the drives are where they were…

mmm, i’m a photographer and on the drobo disks i got 100 000 of pictures, for me a little disastre …

can anybody help me pleaseeeeeeeeeee …

nothing worked… and i have no time to search further…
what i did… i’m glad to say, i backuped my mac & drobo online 4 month’s ago.
so i resetted my drobo with discs (format) & now i’m bringing everyting back to my drobo

You ran out of time so you did what you had to do. Always a great thing to have multiple backups.

FYI- I had the same problem when I added a 4T drive. Dashboard showed the drives and their sizes, but no data or no light info. The Drobo showed all red steady lights.

I shut down my Mac and unplugged the Drobo for about 5min. Then I plugged it in and started up my Mac. It took about 5 more minutes before anything happened but then I got the flashing green/yellow lights for protection rebuilding.

When in doubt, I shut down the computer and if there are no lights flashing on the Drobo, I restart it, too. So far, it’s worked every time.
