4-bay Drobo Battery

Hello All,

I recently bought the Gen 3 4-bay Drobo; one of the key differentiators for me was the cache battery announced in its specs. However, I don’t see any trace for it in the dashboard. Does it exist?

I own a drobo 5N and it also should have this battery built in.

AFAIK it works like hibernate for PC. When power fails all system buffer/RAM data is written to flash storage before shutdown. When powering up again then system is restored to it’s original state.

Dashboard does not provide any info about battery.

There were different kinds of batteries installed in every Drobo since the very first model.
